I have a 03 captiva 192 with a a 4.3. my issue is that the rpm was ready 6000 so I was told to calibrate the tac. I see the screw on the back but where is it supposed to be setting?

The back should say 4-6-8 I believe. Yours should be on the 6. That selector switch could be dirty or if all else fails try the "Faria double tap."
