how’s top come off?

    Seems like on mine you need to remove 2 screws on either end 1st.  That separates the top piece from the 2 ends.  Then the front of the top piece can tilt up.  Then I think there’s 2 pegs on the back of the top piece that fit into 2 holes on the back piece.  Position the top just right and it releases from that back piece.

    I think there’s 2 screws on top also.

    Yep, total of 6 screws.  Two on top in the back, and two on each side.
