Gear lube leak

2003 fiesta vee 312
port engine gear lube leak 
repaired small leak in connection
refilled still leaks but slowly
Should I just top off and monitor until boat can be pulled out of water ?

    Is it definitely a leak or could the level be stabilizing from replacing the gear oil over winter? If so, it will stop lowering at some point.

    My lube monitor bottle was leaking slowly from the fitting on the bottom of the bottle, $60 for a new one fixed the issue.

    A pressure test, 5psi, should give you can idea where the leak is, if there's one .  Should hold 24+ hours.

    Do you ever notice any form of oil slick in the water by the out drive?
