trailer setup for easy loading at boat ramp

When I winch my 192 captiva onto the trailer on the ramp it never sits right on the bow roller.  If it sung it up at the ramp so that the roller touched the bow it always has about 4 or 5 inches on winch strap between the boat and the roller after I pull it up with the car onto a flat surface.  The boat is too heavy to winch it up without it being in the water.  The boat does not trailer correctly when this gap exist between the bow roller and the boat.  It bounces fore and aft when I hit bumps and going down hills on the road.  It seems to me the bow roller needs to be raised on the trailer so that I can snug it up and have the bow sit higher on the trailer.  What do you think I should do to correct this problem?
