So on parking our boat in storage I caught a branch and really messed up at least one of tge sections of a pole- can a new piece be fabled in?

Remove the canvas and take it to a metal shop where they have the proper tools (and likely will apply heat). For a few bucks it will be like new with no kinks/creases.

An electricians shop with conduit benders might work

All good ideas...I pulled it off the boat and was just looking at it...one side looks like it was easily straighten,  the other side its collapsed partially...
