2004 270 FV Main switch panel - anywhere to get it Oct 2024?

Have searched this high and low, ebay too... not seeing one single panel out there and mine is trashed... Does anyone have another option for this? I saw some posts where people wrapped theirs in vinyl - how have those been holding up? Have checked GLS of course as well...

Two full seasons with vinyl wrap and holding up fine. I do keep a helm cover on when I’m away from boat

I've looked too- my gauge panel was stolen and I think I found the last new one- my panel for the rocker is in very bad shape- I'm not sure the vinyl would help- its falling apart..

I took mine to a metal guy and he used his plasma cutter to make a copy of it in 1/8" aluminum and it's way stronger than the plastic that was there before. You can also alter your spacing and other holes in the panel (old radio, spotlight, etc.)

That's about the choice there is- just need a good way to finish ot.

I primed and painted with Baer Burnished Amber.  I painted the plastic piece for the gauges.

I thought that color of brown really complimented the odd color of the helm gelcoat.

I hate my helm gelcoat so much. Who decided on beige/brown?! Sea Ray of the same era are the same.

I kind off like the color- it's different. That is really nice work sir! So it looks like kind of a hammered finish? I'd be perfectly happy with that look. I replaced my gauges thanks to someone the yanked the hole dash- I did black back ground, blue dial colors and blue lighting. Was 500 out of pocket so a good "deal"!

Personally I am more of a fan of a new panel out of metal or carbon fiber than wrap. I did both. Heat and sunlight through the windshield makes the wrap very brittle after a little. It is easy to nick or tear especially around the screws. Putting it on is do able but tough even for experienced installers. The hard part is getting the wrap to stretch enough on the inside curves for the guages. Some brands of wrap heat up and stretch better than others. So if you go that route get the best quality possible, order extra and be gentle with the screws.

You want to use automotive wrapping film and not generic vinyl. 

I have done 1/8” and 3/16” powder coated aluminum and 1/4” laser cut acrylic. The acrylic is the way to go in my opinion, unless your project is structural.

I had my gauges /dash ripped out- but I stuck with gauges. I just prefer- I think it would have been about the same cost. Gauges off of ebay and must have been the last panel in the world at great lakes...
