I'm upgrading the holding tank and seeking suggestions

Thinking long term here.  Flex sanitation lines eventually absorb unfriendly smells.

Planning on using PVC pipe for everything below the full holding tank line.

I use my macerator pump mounted on top of the holding tank to pump out at a campground RV dump station.   I have a Y valve before the discharge valve where I attach a garden hose.

Will only be using flex hose to join ridged lines for allowable flex.

Goal is always fresh boat smell.

Plan on using the whale gulper macerator.

I currently do not have a poo tank level gauge.  They seem to not last long term due to sticky things and the inevitable flushed steely Dan album.

Plan is to install a hatch under my helm for service access to the macerator and for a quick eyeball at my tank level.

Any suggestions/flaws to my game plan?

Any suggestions for source/brand sanitary hose or pump you would recommend over whale gulper?

Taking time memorial Day weekend to remove the tank, take measurements and start ordering parts.   Would like to maybe install a larger holding tank if I can fit it.

Also any recommendations on a source for the plastic tank.

Thanks ahead of time.

The only thing that might be an issue with PVC is vibration but with the flex hose you’re using you should be good.

There will be flex at every joint where I can't secure the PVC to a flat secure surface.  Luckily for my overboard discharge I have a flat surface from the aft bedroom all the way to the transom.

I have a whale gulper for my shower and it’s awesome.

You can get tank level gauges that glue to the side of the tank (so they don’t get gummed up).
