Canopy

Hello everyone, I need your help again. I am trying to put the canopy on and for some reason I can’t get the thing tight and I am not able to put the buttons on to snap it closed. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? 

This is for stern part of the boat. 

2002 342 Fiesta Vee. 

I know you guys get sick of me hopefully one day I will know what I am doing!

We’re here to help, this is the best forum around. How close can you get to the snap? Is it just shrinkage? Dampening the canvas may help but this tool saves the fingers.

Get it wet, and lay it in the sun before trying it.  Gotta let'r stretch

I found if my aft canvas is put on a certain way, it makes it easy. If I install the panels out of order, it makes it very difficult.

If you can adjust your posts, make sure they’re at a lower position, then when you have everything on and snapped, raise the posts up tight.
