She may need some new cushions, some new dash panels, some electrical work (No idea why the trim tabs dont work), and some love... but man she still delivers when asked..

Your day turned out better than ours.  The family is spoiled by the creature comforts of a 5 ton hard top cruiser where they weather the storm in AC while enjoying the comforts of a dry cabin.  Not so much on a 22ft CC.   This storm was not in the forecast and the radar showed it passing to sea, not directly over us.

It was the 7 mile bridge, Pigeon key was just south of this pic. Unfortunately we're already home.  We really need more dedicated time down there, its always so rushed every time we visit.

What scares me about boating in the keys is not the water but what's under it! All the pictures I see it looks like it's 2 foot deep everywhere...your transom sounds like it's still on the boat do i guess you figure it out- the coral heads and reefs freak me out. Everywhere I boat is sand.

If it's green or brown go around.   Blue is good to go and green,  white you just might.

.I've had the navigation say I should be in 1ft of water and it's a 14 ft deep channel and to my side is a sand bar that shouldn't be there. Storms change things quickly and it can take years to replace channel markets lost to a storm.

Go slow, wait until you see other boats go through if you can should you not be sure about any area.   Really worth the trip!
