Thanks for the info.The Hyundai S250 V6 diesel is also an interesting repower option for lighter boat owners wanting to switch from gasoline to diesel for fuel economy. However they have a long way to go to match Yanmar's track record in the USA

I got the bikini experience without the Axius.  I was pulling into a slip at Columbus MS and the dock master asked me "how do I like my Axius?"  Puffed up chest, let me tell you.  But it was ideal conditions to make the boat cooperate, going forward, sliding sideways.  No wind, no current, just the right conditions.

I boat with two 390s on the chesapeake that have diesel sterndrives.  Both were at our rendezvous this year!  I have to ignore the conversation when they start talking fuel burn! )  I just say "let's sit on my rumble seat to discuss, since there is more space there"
