Getting caught up on some purchases and recall someone ( @PickleRick ) I think had a link to a site that was very reasonable- anyone have recommends other than Amazon? I'll check ebay  - new oem look to be 400 bucks.

Another vote for DB Electrical. Find them on their own site, eBay, or Amazon. Great deal and superb service.

DB electrical although there is a better place to get upgraded starters for your Chevy motors

I'll cast another vote for DB. Bought a replacement alternator from them for our 270 when we still had her and it was virtually indistinguishable from the original and worked great.
