Happy 4th of July, my boating brethren! 

We are experiencing a ridiculous heat wave here, so I will be spending the holiday indoors. I hope others will enjoy time on the water so I can enjoy it vicariously. Everyone have fun and be safe!

2 days in the basement trying to wrap up the fitout. Wall panelling yesterday, shower grouting today. Maybe boat tomorrow.

Got a few hours in on the water Friday. Storms had rest of weekend messed up.

It's been crazy everywhere! We have been getting just tremendous thunderstorms..3 hit by lightning..one was a sherif.  We get such events, it's hard to get to shelter- by the time you fo the weather has passed....

Friday and Saturday we had bad heat, and storms Saturday night. Here in Philly they pushed the fireworks back till 2:30am, crazy anybody waited around that long. We ditched the city for a poolside cookout, no regrets.

If you come to Florida,  don't jump in tge river or lakes to cool off. Dam gators going crazy around here.

At least we don't have that to deal with. Illinois beig #1 in the country for tornadoes isn't that much fun.
