What did you do to your lawn today?

We had some heavy rain on Sunday and my lawn didn’t get a chance to dry out. We couldn’t get the boat all the way back in the yard. Luckily it’s back far enough for my daughters to still be able to use the hill for sleigh riding when it snows! I was able to fix it the best I could for now. Pictures don't really show how deep the ruts were. They were deep! I had to pull the hauler and trailer out with my Land Cruiser (wish I had a picture). I think I need to get a bigger boat so I can’t keep it in the yard anymore!! 😂⚓️

Would save me a lot of money not having to convert and
it would make winterizing so much easier!⚓️
It's a sad time of year when you know the boat isnt going to see water again until April/May and your lime tree is coming inside for winter.
As a consolation prize the admiral gets pumpkin spice.
Speaking of tropical/subtropical plants i have two dwarf palmettos that have dozens of ripe seeds. Once mature these guys can handle sub 10 degree temps. Found naturally growing as far north as Oklahoma. If anyone wants seeds they're all yours for the price of shipping. These plants have been in the ground for about 6 years and are about 3 or 4 tall with a span of about 3 or ft. I dont know how old they were when planted but out of the 3 or 4 different varieties of dwarf palmettos i have they are the fastest growing by far. Can post pictures if interested. They've seen snow, ice and multi nights of single digit temps, not a single brown leaf. More cold tolerance than my windmills that will take some brown leaf winter damage and a few spear pulls. Unlike windmills they will neve trunk...rarely they do but not common. Other than mulching the trunks zero winter protection in zone 8
Southeastern facing walls and some protection during the worst cold snaps. Its amazing what a small plastic cover and Christmas lights can do for you. And lots of mulch. Once well established it is good down to zero degrees. Like most cold hardy palms they are slow growers so it takes a while to get there.
Ill get pictures later this afternoon
I'll get a few dozen together for you thus weekend. It belive the seeds need to see temps around 80 to sprout so a heating pad of some sort is required.
I'd love some of the vegetation you guys in Florida throw out. I put discarded coconuts i find under my larger banna and windmill palms. Im waiting on the day someone asks me something about growing coconuts
Let me know what shipping is.
