Prop ideas for a Captiva 226 5.0 MPI

Just  bought the boat and love it.  It just needs a lot of help getting out of the water.  It is OK with just me but when i add a load or try to pull a skier it takes forever to come out of the water.  It currently has a 21 pitch prop on it.  Thought about going down to a 19 pitch or 4 or 5 blade prop.  Just didn't want to spend a ton of money experimenting.  Thanks in advance!

I've got the same boat as yours.  It came with a 3-blade 19" pitch aluminum prop fro the factory.  I've since replaced it with a 4-blade stainless 18" pitch and added Nauticus SmartTabs.  The boat instantly pops out of the water and tows like a dream.  I did lose a few mph off the top end but I don't care as it's used primarily as a tow boat for watersports.  Also, it does not over-rev with the 18" pitch.

    For cruising, I may get a 19" or 20" 3-blade in stainless.

Thanks for the info.  I tried the 19 pitch and it still didn't pull me out fast enough.  Traded it back in today and got a 2012 377 Mag, Bravo III with Thru Hull Exhaust.  That should do the trick!haha
