Seat pedestal replacement

I want to replace the fixed seat pedestals with height adjustable pedestals of the same manufacturer (Springfield) on my 2000 232 Captiva. Can anyone tell me how those pedestals were anchored at the factory? I am hoping I do not have to remove the floor panel to get underneath.

How did the replacement go? We have the very same boat and I am going to do the exact same thing. I need to be above the windshield to feel comfortable driving. I found pedestals on ebay for around $95 delivered. Let me know!
