Wiper repair on a 2003 342

All, I'm looking to purchase a 2003 342 and the seller told me that the wipers don't work; thinks they were jammed when they were turned on when the boat was covered.  I'm pretty handy at fixing things, but I'm wondering how difficult it is to reach the wiper motors and mechanism.  Anyone ever spent any time working on the wipers?

The port side can be accessed from the inspection plate in the head on the ceiling.  The starboard side you need to take the ceiling panel down, pop off the 'buttons' and then it unscrews.

 

Check the breakers first though.
