Insurance

We have decided to allow members to leave boats in the water for the winter. Has anyone had any experience with boat insurance for this situation? I would guess there would be some sort of special rider required.

I'm sure there would be an extra rider for this.  My current insurance has a Dec 1 - April1 date the boat has to be out of the water or no coverage.  Our marina charges for the electric if you stay in over the winter (we had a couple living year-round on a sail boat)..cost them several grand to bubble and heat the boat, that was the last time they did that.
