Yes, the hardtop 370 is equipped with a fully functional stripper pole. It also serves as a structural support for the front of the hardtop, and a handrail for the stairs to the bow. But it is primarily a stripper pole. ;-D
There is also a curved brace on the port side of the hardtop for lateral support. These supports are both made from heavy-duty, large-diameter steel tubing. I can't imagine this hardtop without the supports. Even with them, the hardtop bounces a bit in heavy seas.
Yep, the 370's had issues and added them in. Really a bit tacky, but I guess they had to do something. Mine has the smaller arch one coming off the port side, which I actually like. It helps with the lateral movement. I believe they also added the arch type to the 420, or maybe a small pole behind the helm (I'm trying to remember).
We're going to have a little contest at the next Chesapeake Rinker Rendezvous on Explore7425's 370!
