I can see the marketing folks at Rinker picking up on your creative and broad (pun intended) marketing ideas......but they'd probably have a some interoffice HR issues.
I got the stink eye from HR last week for referring to some office staff as gals. wth, if I ever hear them call me a guy I'm filing a grievance for mental anguish. Of course the cure is boat time to de-stress.
Can't win Mike, I once called the gals ladies, apparently that implied a certain degree of conduct so that wasn't appreciated either. I don't know what's correct now - women - or would someone object to the wo-men implication. Yes, dear works best for me. MT
Reading this thread makes me want to comment. The lady "Salt Shaker" was
out in St. Andrews Sound in 2010 on our loop trip and it was wild out there.
East wind blowing in against the east bound currents from two rivers joining up
at the sound. Wet ride but our 342 took it all in stride. The other waves to
remember were on Lake Michigan. We ventured out on two different occasions from
different ports on seas the ferrys were avoiding. Just for comfort, we turned
back both times.
Slogans aside, MT has shared with us some deep-seated bitterness towards boat salesmen. As a baby, was he slapped by a boat salesman? Discuss amongst yourselves. 8-D
