Rinker 230 Atlantic

Hi,

Is it normal that rainwater is channeled into the bilge of a Rinker 230 Atlantic ? Where is the water channeled from the canopy ?

It is not normal to channel water into the bilge, however, water will enter through a number of places like the air vents in the side and etc. The water usually runs off the top/canopy overboard without being channeled. I don't own a 230, however, most boats have a channel just inside the windshield that run under the glass to the outside....If these channels are dirty or not clear, water will run into the bilge. Hope this helps.

Any water that finds its way into the cockpit is channeled into the bilge.  If the top leaks anywhere, the water will eventually find its way down.
