Blue angels return to maryland

Blue angels will be returning to Maryland twice this summer. I am rather excited this will be the first time I've had a boat to see them fly. They will be in nap town for the graduation and in the harbor for a star spangle celebration in sept

We have them in Louisville Ky to kick off Derby Week at Thunder Over Louisville the largest fireworks show in the country.

Brian, definitely can't wait to see them! hoping to have a good crew to tie up with and enjoy the show! if you want to join, I'm sure we can work it out. I'm so excited I already have it blocked off on my work calendar, and thinking about blocking the rest of the week as well. I've gotten chills each time I see them. You can also dial into the narrative on the radio.

Blue Angels are on my calendar thanks to this thread.

I love how the Geico pilots are just chillin with the canopy open in that first picture.

LoL! it is, I'm the Chief of Maintenance for the team. Myself and the rest of the maintenance team fly to each show location. The job makes us travel a lot but I have to say it is probably one of the most exciting jobs you can have. We have 15 shows confirmed for this season so far!

I've been in aviation maintenance since 1998, I'll be with the team 4 years this may. Before I started with the Skytypers I was in corporate aviation managing Jets and Helicopters for various companies. I was offered this position and couldn't pass it up! We will not be at the NA grad (I think that's in May right?),once our schedule is finalized I will post it here. When "we fly" we are passengers but do get plenty of stick time
