Power trim solenoid location?

New member, first post. Apologies if this is in the wrong section!

Just picked up a 1990 Rinker Sport 236, 454 Magnum. Power trim works going down, but not up. Trailer trim works fine, though. Is there a separate solenoid for the "up" power trim and the trailer trim? I do not hear any solenoids clicking when trying to trim up (but again, trailer trim DOES work). Wondering if this is a solenoid issue or the problem lies elsewhere (switch, etc).

EddiePA, welcome!  

The problem is likely in the trim limit switches and/or position senders -- the "pucks" on the gimbal ring.  Hopefully, somebody here can give you better advice than I can.  In the meantime, here's a decent summary:

Just an update on this. Turns out the trim is fine. Just couldn't trim it low enough on the trailer to get under the max trim limit. Put her in the water today and the trim works fine.
