Replacing Battery Charger on FV-270

Hey Everyone, 

Ran into a snag with replacing my battery charger. West Marine no longer carries a 15 or 20 Amp Guest ChargePro, so I picked up a ProMariner 20amp 3 bank charger.  The new charger has the 6 cables for the 3 banks, but it also has a standard wall plug.  Should I splice that and hard wire it to the existing wires going into my old unit?  Or should I return in, and by the newer version of my dead unit?

GFCI sounds like a good idea but there is a lot of moisture in the engine compatment

Hey ED, please pay particular attention to Steve's advice to use a plastic/composite outlet box for both safety and insurance purposes. MT

I believe that is your battery isolator.

I tried looking for a hardwire Guest Procharge charger but all have regular wall plug and red and black direct to batteries. Should I bypass and pull the isolator? Stuck...
