raw water impeller replacement 260

It appears the water impeller on the 2013 260 is very difficult to change.  Has anyone done it?  Is there an easy way.  Does the engine need to be pulled to change it?

    Mike. I can't speak for your boat but on mine it is difficult to get to but not impossible. I can't imagine that you would have to pull the engine. The hard part for me was removing the hose clamps and getting the water hoses off. For the hose clamps I used a 1/4 inch ratchet with a long extension and universal. Once the hoses were off the pump was easy to take out. I have merc 5.0's and bravo iii. I'm sure someone here will know your boat and be able to give better and more specific advice
