Leak in galley

I seem to have leak around porthole in galley in heavy rain. Somewhere coming between window and screen on bottom of windo then soaking carpet under mattress from bathroom to anchor locker. Anyone else run into this with your 270 Rinker. Frustrating

    Yes, on our 342.  Finally got it solved.  The windows leaked like a fire hose.  Also check your electrical plugs on the side of your boat.  We had gobs of water coming in thru these.  They were broken and the gaskets that were supposed to keep water out were completely ineffective.  Now that these two issues have been discovered and fixed, the Salt Shaker is as "dry as a bone."

    Could water come in from transition chrome trim running the length of the boat?

    Leak was coming from porthole window. Took window out what a mess. Have to replace vinyl on wall since foam behind is soaked and smells
