Port light in head of FV 342

Has anybody figured out a fix for water pooling on the outside of the port light in the head? It rained all day yesterday and I had about an a half inch of water pooled outside the port light. I ended up holding a trash can under it and opening it to let the water go somewhere. Seems a less than perfect design.

If you want the port lite to open, that's the way it goes. Some have changed it to a fixed port lite (like the windows on the sides).
