1998 Festiva 212 cuddy - how to access a couple of things...

I have a 1998 Festiva 212 cuddy and I love it! Just a couple of questions:

1) How do I access the area behind the dash and gauges? I need to get back there to re secure my fuel gauge that keeps falling out of the hole. I thought it might have access behind the mirror in the cabin but I took the mirror off and there isn't any access. Does the front wall of the cabin need to come out? Or take the dash off?

2) How do I access the trailer winch hook on the bow? The hook is crooked and I need to straighten it out and tighten the nuts. I thought there may be access from the anchor locker but it doesn't look like it. Or maybe access through the front of the cabin?

Any help / guidance will be greatly appreciated!
