Cockpit table

I am trying to find the rectangular table for my 2008 Rinker 400. When I bought it there is a smaller oval table however I would like to get the nice one that was an original option for the boat. Anyone know where I can order one online? I don't seem to having luck finding a site.

Not sure if you can get one at West Marine. You would probably need to get the post and table top together, and you would hope that the post diameter is the same as the post seat you currently have, or you will have to install a new one. The other option is to get a post fabricated - I found a local aluminum shop and they made one up for me in 2 days.  Didn't cost a lot something like $80 or so.

Weat marine has some. Overton's has some and cindy scott hagen at Rinker boats will either have one or you can go to Rinker's source Jet Technologies Inc. (don't have an e.mail handy but I bet if you google it it will show up) who make Rinker's "plastic" parts. cscott@nauticglobalgroup.com    MT  P.S. go to www.overtons.com and www.westmarine.com and scroll through their tables there should be quite a selection there also. Some rectangular tables have trim some have cupholder holes others don't.

I went to a local counter top maker. I picked out a wood grain look that kind of matched my dash board then gave him the dimensions I wanted and $90 later I had a table. It's been installed in the cockpit for 3 years and has held up very well.

Hi I thought after I posted that I should have explained the build. I bought 1 mil blue card and white. Chose a simple star cut out from the white traced onto the blue and inserted into the blue. Bought the letters for the boat name and hoped for the best. I had to play with the table as the previous owner managed to put a crack across the top. I wasn't clever enough to cut out the cup holders I'm sure I would have made a mess. Still at leased I can't see the crack. Good luck if anyone wants to have a go. Terry

Yes actually the cockpit has so many cup holders it doesn't really mater, my main worry is wether the lacquer I covered the work with will be durable enough. I thought if I use a heavy wax to protect against moisture maybe that will do the trick. It's worth a try the whole thing only cost £12.

I also decided to improve the table. I made completely new from laminate with a cutter.
With the cutter you get nice round edges. The stoppers on every edge are inlaid with glue.

Now i will test the size. i think this came up too large, 80x60cm. Original oval table is about 75x45cm.

the table is full of beer cans anyway, so nobody would see it..
I remove the table to aft cabin every time we're underway.
