Resecure tow hook

While prepping boat for the summer, I noticed the tow hook was loose on my 1990 Vee 250.  What is the next step to re-secure the toe hook.

Thanks,

I guess you are refering to that "U" shaped thingie sticking out of the bow about half way to the water line.  I have always wondered what it's real purpose is, especially on a 18,000 pound (loaded with the usual stuff) boat.

That's the trailer winch line pull/tie down hook.

BTW last year my dealer was taking our 2013 EC 310 up a launch ramp to do some final PDI. I asked the hauler why he wasn't going to put a strap on the front "eye" hook to take it back to the shop - which was only about 1000 yards away. He said we haven't lost one yet. I said okay, it's your $$$ if it slips. His helper said, you know this guy (that was me) has waxed the hull twice now in two weeks. You should have seen the first guy move to put the tow strap on it. I didn't think he had that much game in him LOL. MT P.S. I have seen a cruiser slide off a hauler at a launch ramp - it's an ugly sight.
