Simpson Lawrence Horizon 600 reconditioning

Anyone know of a service to recon one of these? I have a problem with the electric motor, mechanically all looks well but trying to get the motor out is a challenge as it appears the main shaft (17) has a lock on the end pressed on that I can't get off to remove the compound gear (4) to get to the last mounting bolt for the motor.

Any ideas?
