OK those are the spreader lights. The trick with any of these is the existing hole Vs. what a new light needs. Personally, I recommend going with an LED light of some sort, they are sealed, the light will last longer than the boat too. www.hellamarine.com has nice stuff. www.yachtlights.com is another one. I put in the tri-color lights (white/red/blue) and love them.
I have blue LED's in there now. They look great at night. Problem is, the plastic housing on both have broken and the lenses are gone. Looks like crap. I will look into those sites. Thank you.
It depends on the lights that are there. Some had the round lights that were made by either Attwood or Perko, which can be replaced with the ITC Tri-color LED lights. Some had the lights that I listed above.

They basically screwed right into the old holes made. Just had to solder the wires to the 12V harness. Tool 10 minutes. Also replaced my swim deck (transom) light. There are pictures at the bottom of this post showing how they turned out. Can cycle between red, blue and white.
