Air conditioner tripping breaker

I own a 1998 Rinker 280 just put into the water for this year and the air conditioner was working fine took out for a ride came back plugged into shore power and air conditioner keeps tripping the breaker. Any suggestions where to look and how to fix? Also have been told by a fellow boater may be the pump if so how do I find and replace?

Check the wires to the capacitor. They are located on the unit of the compressor were the wire to the thermastat goes. There is small 12 g wires that get subjected to wet conditions and corrodes and shorts out. do not keep trying to flip breaker on until resolved.
