Cup holders won't drain

Hello All!

I am the proud new owner of a 2011 186 BR Captiva (stern drive).  I was hoping someone could shed some light on my cup holder situation...  My cup holders won't drain???  I've been using a shop-vac to clean them out, but they keep filling back up with rainwater or when I'm cleaning.  Anyone experience this?  Thanks in advance.

The drains are just 3/8" tube draining to the bilge (at least on mine). I bet they are just plugged up.

How are they filling up with rain water? Isn't the boat covered when not in use?

It is covered, but I guess water is somehow still getting in them.

That's strange? Is the rest of the boat getting wet also? I wonder if you could try straightening out a coat hanger and seeing if there is blockage in the drain line?

Spray your cover with waterproofer, it might help.
