Saved Two Hundred BUCK$

I was about to order new caps and rotors and my mechanic suggested sanding the ozone and light corrosion off on each terminal. So I did and used a clean rag with a little wd40 to wipe the dust out of the cap. Then rubbed it dry and clean. Worked like a champ!!! Runs great too!

This is a great fix and I have done that wth older style engines a lot in the past..Keep an eye on the terminals as they tend to be on a faster wear curve after that process. If sanding I would use a VERY fine  paper as any scratches or pitting from sanding with too coarse a paper will promote speedy re-pitting. The main point is that you saved a couple of hundred $ for the time being. Nice work! MT
