We purchased the boat this spring, and it needed some TLC, replaced props, hardware and gimbal on the BIII, installed 2 battery trays and new batteries, brought the shine back to the gelcoat, etc...
I thought I was all done, (finally ready for water this weekend) when I decided to check the bilge pump. I can hear it run and it moves water around the bilge, looks like the discharge hose is not connected. I can see part of the bilge pump towards the front of the engine, just need to know how do I access it. Does the seat back and the center floor access over the tank need to be removed to get to it, or is there some other access?
SINCE I JUST HAD MY ENGINE REINSTALLED I ACTUALLY HAVE SEEN WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT. UNLESS YOU ARE DOUBLE JOINTED WITH REALLY LONG ARMS, I'M AFRAID YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE SEAT WALL IN FRONT OF THE MOTOR OFF.
GOOD LUCK!! NOT ACTUALLY TO HARD TO REMOVE BUT A LITTLE HEAVY FOR 1 PERSON.
