2 questions about props
1. To get a good ride on my 260 ec the rpms need to be around 4000-4400 rpms.
2. What is the optimum prop pitch and size to get it on plane?

I have a 2009 280.....I two have a 22. I also need to be around 4000-4400 rpms for a good ride. I worry about the high RPM's, but I burn no oil. I will burn oil around the 3500 rpm. I need to keep the speed over 20 mph, but find it more comfortable around 23 mph. What size engine do you have. I have the 5.7 mpi.
