I lost my windshield wiper today while washing my boat ( the hose knocked it off into the water). I still have the arm up to where the screw is to adjust it. Anyone know what size I need? 2001 242 Fiesta Vee.

Here is a pic I have of the wiper, I have the arm all the way up to the plastic piece the blade pops into. Anyone know if a blade from the auto store will work with this type of adaptor? I never use the wiper but like to know its there if needed!

I did installed a car wiper on my boat easy fix .

I replaced the one on my 242 from an auto parts store. I think it was a 16 inch, but I am not sure, and the boat is not here to measure. If you don't replace it, I would remove the arm so no one hits the switch by mistake and scratches the windshield.

I replaced the one on my 280 as well. I believe it was a 16" blade also. I picked mine up from Wally World. Next time, I am going to replace it with a newer style blade that doesn't have the metal frame. For $20, it might work better than the metal frame blades.

Thanks guys, I picked up an auto blade today and should be able to make it fit.
