Water and waste tubes switched. Ugh.

Maybe all I need here is a little advice.
On our last trip to Powell, we discovered that the two water in/outs off the back of the Fiesta Vee had been switched. The fresh water and the black water. No biggie. We just have to reverse the duties... Pour fresh water in the "waste" tube and pump the black from the "water" tube. a little confusing.
The problem is... before we knew the tubes had been switched, we filled the fresh water tank full of non potable water, thinking that we were going to flush the black water tank.
What would be my next move? Is there a chemical that I would use to remedy the mistake and clean all the fresh water lines? Is cycling the only cure for getting the non-potable water out of the fresh water lines? Will a water/tank stabilizer work?

Get in the bilge and pull the water tank drain hose (now is a good time to add a drain T) and add a few gallons of water and a heavy bleach solution (like 1 cup to 3gals). Run it in the system and open all of the faucets until you smell bleach and let it set a day. Drain and flush with clean city water and add a cap of bleach to every 20gals +/- or until it's not overpowering.
I try to drain my water tank if it won't be used for more than 2wks and always keep it treated. Nothing quite matches the ferocity of a zillion microbes waging war in your lower G.I. because you forgot to keep your water supply clean. That's just us, I'm sure other will add tips on what works for them.
Good luck. Mike
Wow..I'm not sure how you can switch those two hoses even by accident! Mikes bleach recipe is the way to go if no black water got in the system..just don't use scented bleach!
I would not reuse the potable water tube if you pulled black water through it, you'll never get it clean, better to replace IMO. If it was just 'non-potable' the flushing as noted above should be fine.
