2004 312 Engine Audible Alarms

royboyroyboy Member Posts: 1
My 2004 312 ( bravo 3's merc 5.0 L )engine audible alarms are not working or have been removed by the previous owner. It is possible that the piezo horns are "pooched",which I doubt, but I would like to have these alarms in working order again.I have looked behind the dash gauges,to no avail. If someone can narrow down the locations of these alarm horns or knows of wire color coding or best yet,a wiring schematic, that could be sent to me it would be appreciated.

In my 270 it's in the wiring nest/mess behind the dash switches. pull the dash panel and it should be back there.

Also, there should be two of them. One is part of the depth finder harness. The other one is the one your looking for.

I found mine, they were on the left side way down below if you take the switch panel of, disconnected by someone (not me).
