Adios Rinker family
After owning and enjoying a 232 cc and then a 270, we have sadly left the Rinker family. We have moved from the Midwest to the Texas coast and our needs have changed. A four stroke Yamaha has replaced my 8.1 Volvo and dual fish boxes have replaced the dual berths.
As I said, we totally enjoyed our two Rinkers and I will continue to refer the brand to anyone looking for a great boat at a reasonable price!
More importantly, I will miss the wealth of knowledge I received from this and previous forum. During my boat search I visited several other forums and found the quality of data/ info weak compared to the quality that is shared on this site.
I will still check in from time to time as old habits die hard but in the meanwhile I wish you all many perfect days of enjoying your Rinkers!!!!

Best of luck......
Life is full of different chapters, hope the next one is a great one.
Best of luck in your boating future. Mike
Thanks for the well wishes!
RY- I have fished from the 270 many times but our needs have changed. We were living 135 miles from our boat so the cabin was necessary. We now live 5 miles from the boat so cabin not so necessary. Fish boxes, live wells, and the efficiency of the four stroke outboard made the decision for us. Don't get me wrong, I will miss the comfort of our cruiser (especially the a/c).
Beautiful! That is going to be FUN! MT
