280 mid berth

Has anyone replaced the mid berth mattress on a 280? I was looking at replacing ours with a temperpedic queen 3" mattress topper but the size is different. Any suggestions?

There are plenty of custom places that will make a temperpedic or other type custom mattress.  personally, I think they are too warm (I have one at home).

BD, we saw a queen topper at Costco and thought that might be a good idea, maybe just have a new slightly thicker and firmer one made??

You can buy and cut that temperpedic material yourself too as a top.

We bought a topper for our v-berth that we just cut to size.  Works very well and much more comfortable.  Just make sure you buy one large enough for the unusual shape you will need to cut out of it.
