Alternator Part Number with a T?? (807653)

I am needing to change my alternator and looking to replace Merc Part #807653, vendor #AC165617. I am seeing it from online vendors with a T. Any idea of the difference? Any recommendation of a good supplier is appreciated as well. Thanks!
