I have a Captiva 246 Bow Rider, 2013 and the transom shower will not work. I turn on the galley pump and the water in the sink works, but I cannot get any water out of the shower head. Anyone have any ideas?
Errr.. whats the transom showers primary function again? Is it used to clean off the hull after boating? Or, to hose down hotties for a wet t-shirt contest? Please explain...

While probably made to wet down the hotties as its primary purpose (although one would skip the warm water side lol)..the secret reason for it is to wash you/passengers off before boarding from sand, lake water, etc. shhhh don't tell anyone about the latter.
Probably a kinked line in the storage area. If its anything like my 276 its not like it has a dedicated spool that it sits in. Unless you filled it up with lake water I dont see what could clog the shower head in one season, unless you have the hardest city water in the country.
Simple fix is to attach a nylon bag to the lines from behind. Zip tie it tightly to the feed line and then another to somewhere in the hull to keep the bag fairly upright. Feed the line into the bag like a snake charmer would a snake. Keeps it from snagging on things.

I will try that when I get to the boat later today! Thanks for the suggestion!
