The wall 'panels' are vinyl over foam backing and glued to the walls. It will peel off but you'll have some damage to the coveringn to deal with.

Where is the water coming from??

Entire Salon area filled up with water that came in thru air conditioner condensation output.  Front cable of lift broke during low tide when tide came up water came thru that opening.

Ouch. How far did the salon fill with water?  Sounds like more of an insurance claim to fix major water damage.

Insurance claim filed but no one has been out to the boat yet, so I took pictures and started pulling everything out.  Water up to top step.  Very unhappy boater right now.

Wow. What a mess. Sorry to hear about that. I'd not tear too much out, insurance companies can be tricky about this stuff.

Sorry to hear about that. There is a silver lining. You can finish it the way you like now, with teak floors, etc.
