Porthole hinge plugs

2003 FV310, the portholes wouldn't stay open so I popped out the dress plugs on the hinges and tightened the screws and now they stay open. The plugs however are apparently single use, no matter how carefully I tried I could get it out easily so the result was to push a driver into it and pull out. Any idea if these are a standard part to purchase to plug the holes again?

You can try Bomar, but I just left mine open for future adjustments

I've got one or two that won't stay all the way up as well (maybe half way, so not a big deal).  Thought about doing the same thing.  At least this tells me what I'm in for if I do tighten them.  thanks!

You can use a small drill bit too, by hand, then work the phillips screwdriver in to tighten.

BD, you mean drill through the plugs and then work the screw driver through the drill hole and tighten?

Exactly. Otherwise you chew up the edges trying to pry the cap off. Personal experience. lol
