good question and I will follow.....I don't have "back flow" per say on the 270 but it does not seem to want to pump all the waste....you think you have and then when you look later, it's obvious that some of it came back through the line which looks like it goes up hill......I usually put a lot of water in it to make sure the water that "comes back" is clean water but then I'm really putting more water into the holding tank than I think I should have to be.....

We had the same problem on our 290 never did figure it out however since I have been using the nor flex digester ( I think that what it's called) that I read about on this forum we have not had that problem at all. Pumps out cleaner than anything I've ever seen. My guess is the heavy matter was getting held up in a low spot.

Is the tank holding a vacuum?   Maybe something is stuck in one of the two duckbills allowing the backflow to happen.

Lmao man after my own heart .... Bet it is a valve though. That nor flex digester did the trick on mine eats all the solids up and pumps out clean no more stuff hanging up any where
