Outboard motor vibration on 2014 Rinker Ski Fish

rychlrrychlr Member Posts: 2
I have a 2014 Rinker 186 Ski Fish with an Evinrude 115 e-tec and i notice a lot of vibration on the motor at low speeds. I also noticed the motor was not mounted right in the middle of the transom could this be causing the vibration? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

Nope, mounting it off centre shouldn't cause vibration. Many, many fishermen run their kicker motors to one side, no problem. Vibration means something in the drive is off balance. Prop or shaft could be bent.

Thanks for all the responses. I installed a new higher end prop and it runs much smoother now. It seems BRP shipped the wrong props to the dealer originally and was the cause of the vibration.
