Bilge switch

Guys, i had this bilge switch mounted into the bathroom wall, it was not connected to anything, what should this have been connected to?
the previous owned had put in all new dials in the helm could they have disconnected this?

It was probably connected to the shower bilge pump.

Mine is a 1989 fiesta bee 250 I don't have a shower just a toilet

Drain in the floor of the head

ok thanks ill have a look, never saw a pump when i had the wall out, but ill check again.

Checked my head floor drain, no pump it just dumps into the mid cabin bilge?

my 270 has a sump pump that collects the water from the shower out a thru hull. It has a filter of sorts but I think mine is automatic. Yet to take a shower yet but if you have a shower I'd guess that's what  it is.
