Hello folks, quick question. Where the heck is the Sony amp on my 05 Rinker 290?? I'm pretty sure I have removed any panel where it could have been hiding. Thanks!!

The amp should be behind the TV in the cabin.
You will see a veneered back plate inside that cabinet. Unscrew that and it should be right behind there.

Better than mine.  It's inside the v berth.  And it's a booger to reach.

Mine is by the A/C compartment, doesn't seem like a good place for it but there it is

At least it is being kept cool when the A/C is running. Cool is better than hot. B)

Well, amp ended up being under the forward birth. The behind the TV tip led me to there though, so thanks for that.  Will be moving this elsewhere as I install the new system.

Where in the forward birth was it? What system are you installing. If you do install a new system, see if you can get a media player in there for songs and movies.

Well, here is the complete upgrade:
    • Fusion IP700i - Cabin
    • Fusion MS-NRX200i Swim Platform (NMEA2000 Remote)
    • JLAudio MX650 Speakers (6 Deck, 2 Cabin)
    • JLAudio M600/6 Amp (For Deck Speakers)
    • 6 LED Speaker Rings
    • Garmin 741XS Chartplotter
    • Garmin B150M Through Hull Transducer
    • Sears DieHard Platinum Marine Batteries AGM (3)
    • ProMariner ProNautic Charger
    • 3 SeablazeX Underwater LEDs
As for Media, I'm reworking an old Xbox360 to work with a 2TB hardrive that holds my complete music and movie collection.  I can hide it away, and use the remote to get to it.

Wifi and DirectTV. Plus 30gigs of data from the cell phone, so I can just turn on the hotspot in a pinch. The old xbox360 will be used as more of media player than gaming.
