New Rinker owner 270 Fiesta Vee

Hi all, I am here in Australia and have just purchased a Fiesta Vee 270, great boat - would love to read an owners manual and any other information that may assist. Also my boat has the switch control panel on the right hand side above the throttle, all other Fiesta's  I looked at on line have the switches on the dash why is my different ?

Also my switches for lights and horn ect have the writing worn off, does anyone have a layout so that I can replace the writing on the switches?

What year?  I recently bought a 05 290 FV, and replaced the entire dash with a replacement kit from Great Lakes Skipper.  Here is a link for a 270 replacement.  LINK

Thank Jhorda, its a 2002, had a look at the link and the dash is different - I have attached a picture of my switch control panel that sits above the throttle.

By the way, your gauges look the same as my 342 as my boat was made to go to Europe but never made it. Perhaps that's why your switches are in a different location then boats in the USA.

Yes Handyman, Australia is a very expensive country to live in, was in the US last year and loved the US it was a very cheap holiday there.

Maybe you are right my 270 was maybe made for a foreign market as I cant see many 270 FV with the same dash layout.

06Rinker270, mine is a bit older than yours its a 2002, arrived in Australia from the USA 4 years ago but never put in the water so it looks like brand new, will post pics this weekend

I would have to agree with HM342... It was more than likely built for export and the regs are probably different for an export boat vs a domestic boat.

Everything that Rinker gives out is the owners manuals to the individual pieces of equipment and a very generic guide to the boat, which is on here. Your best bet is get the model numbers of what you need and search for them on here or out on the web. There is a lot of good info in the archives section of the forum that may help you out.

You can get replacement switches very easily.

Hi handymans342, are these switches available?  Please let me know where from-my switches are good its just the writing that has worn off and I think its better to replace the whole switch so please let me know where I can get them from

You can get labels from marine supply shop. If you're local shop doesnt have them, Try ordering online from eBay. I added my a swim deck light to an accessory switch and used these labels to name the switch. It looks almost light the original writing.
